Ever brought a new day?

Haiku written for the prompt “dawn” for Verse Reps March 1, 2026, the day after the US chose to committed yet another horrific attack on innocents in the name of democracy. No real plan. Just to subjugate. Or better yet, annihilate. Because they can.
