What Matters

There was a time

that used to be

when I thought Jesus

was a good holy man-

just not for me

I had a career

that was the dream

of my life

I was mom to Katie

and to Lance a good wife.

I had not a. clue

I was without one plea

until one of God’s peeps

befriended me

She never

at me

even once

preached
