Born Perfect

Once again

here I am

in the middle of the night

Wrestling with “what about’s”

on one hand

The other

Love’s gentle might.

No thirty-minute wrap

Happy Days resolution

but a dying of a seed

which propagates

new constitutions.

One that before

I could...

or was it would...?

not see

until I was willing to answer

the knock at hea…
