M.A. Hastings, who has short curly strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and dark framed glasses, is standing behind a large bouquet of white and purple flowers in a glass vase. The flower vase is on a navy and cream colored table cloth. In front of the flowers is a beautiful card M.A.’s husband,Lance Hastings painted as one of her birthday gifts. The painting is framed in white matting with a leaf and heart border design dark black ink. In the left foreground of the watercolor is a silhouette of a man strumming an acoustic guitar. The rest of the painting is in a Chinese style, with wisps of sparsely branched trees and delicate leaves in whites and grey. The full white moon peaks out between two branches of the tree in the bluish grey background sky. The second image in the photo is the poem Lance wrote out in a cursive script on the back of the painting. It reads: Were I to build a monument to you and you alone, it would not be of mud or clay nor even rock nor stone. Instead, I would for you, my love, fashion with song and verse, a monument to sore on high and o’er all the Earth. Happy birthday, my dearest!
M.A. Hastings delighted with the watercolor her husband Lance Hastings painted for her as one of her birthday gifts.

But

through room darkening
