Confession and Gratitude

Currently my creative reservoir has dried to dust

but since a Thursday poem is a must

my only option is to offer thus:

I’ve never felt myself a bard

because writing down the words that

from somewhere else I heard

was not at all hard

In fact when my taking these dictations started it eased my plight
